The SynQuest is a questionnaire about synaesthesia, links are below. If you are interested in participating in experiments investigating the phenomenon of synesthesia, please fill out the form to the best of your ability. The data will be transferred to a database used to recruit participants for specific experiments and you will only be contacted about possible experiments relevant for your specific synesthesia. You are free to opt out at any time, and can also choose not to receive further offers.
We conduct both online and in laboratory testing. Online testing can be done from anywhere however due to the experimental set-up, current in laboratory projects require that people can be tested at one of the institutions involved in the collaboration. Currently these are:
Aalborg University, Denmark
Aarhus University, Denmark
Chinese Academy of Sciences, China
Waseda University, Japan
University of Copenhagen, Denmark
University of Iceland, Iceland
University of Akureyri, Iceland
We currently have translated the SynQuest Questionnaire into three languages, please choose your language from the list below:
The questions in the SynQuest questionnaire are based on categories previously reported (see Cytowic & Eagleman 2009, also see Sean A. Day’s hompage) and updated with the accumulation of user feedback.
