Digital information technologies for data processing, analysis and visualization

Pilot study by Anders Bonde “Digital information technologies for data processing, analysis and visualization" The aim of this pilot study is to introduce the students to new technology in order to conduct quantitative and qualitative research. The focus is on the actual process and tools used for gathering the data and the actual data source is rather irrelevant since it is for demonstration purposes.

The focus is on the actual process and tools used for gathering the data and the actual data source is rather irrelevant since it is for demonstration purposes.

Keywords: effect of evaluation, data analysis, data decomposition, eye tracking, galvanic sensor, systematic and logical data processing, communication, digital media, quantitative, qualitative data based on advertisement

The aim of this pilot study is to introduce the students to new technology in order to conduct quantitative and qualitative research. Focus is placed on digital ressources for data collection and data anlysis. As such this study emphasised the importance of digital competency rather than on the source of data

from a CT perspective the study has focused particularly in ways in which students may gain a better understanding of decomposition and pattern recognition
