Lisbeth Uhrenfeldt is Associate Professor in the Department of Health, Science and Technology at the Faculty of Medicine, Aalborg University. With formal training in Nursing and Nursing Education, she has also studied History of Ideas. She obtained her PhD in Nursing Science from Aarhus University with a thesis focusing of nurses’ leadership experi-ences from a hermeneutic perspective. Her current research interests include: (i) experiences of patients and their significant others in hospital encounters; (ii) leadership of clinical practice, research, development and knowledge translation/transfer; and (iii) systematic reviews and qualitative meta-synthesis. She actively participates in three international networks: European Academy of Nursing Research (EANS); European Academy of Caring Research (EACS); and Patients’ and Relatives’ Experiences of Transitions in Transfer (PRANSIT).
