2nd DIHM Summer School, 24–27 August 2015

Hosted by Danish Institute of Humanities and Medicine (DIHM) in collaboration with the Doctoral School of Humanities and the Doctoral School of Medicine.

Course description:

This intensive course is specifically targeted at researchers and professionals within the broad healthcare field. The course will offer exposure to different analytical frameworks, covering micro and macro perspectives on both oral and written data in a range of healthcare sites. Each day is divided into presentations from the course leader followed by group work involving a practical hands-on approach. There will be opportunities for participants to discuss their ongoing research (in the form of data sharing and consultations), and those who are at an advanced stage of their research are encouraged to bring along a poster for display during the Summer School.

Please note that the course concludes with the 2nd Aalborg Lecture in Humanities and Medicine and that DIHM hosts a Symposium on Professions, Communication and Ethics on Friday 28 August that participants are welcome to attend. Please read more about both events here.
