The Bachelor- and Master’s degree programmes are organised under the School of Communication, Art and Technology (CAT) and the School of Consciousness and Human Development (“SEF”). Below are listed all educations, but only links to webpages in English. Click here for full list in Danish.
School of Communication, Art & Technology
The School offers educations within communication, art and technology (CAT) - educations that revolve around communication between humans, through technology and with an eye to communication, persuasion, information, entertainment and knowledge creation. Educations centred on influencing by creating experiences and entertainment, e.g. by using organised technologies, media products, art or other forms of dissemination. The educations are all characterised by being constructive and creative. The School has more than 1000 students and has educational activities in Aalborg as well as in Ballerup.
CAT consists of three separate study boards, which first of all are related since they all deal with education of bachelors and candidates with a theoretically based constructive empowerment and with abilities and tools to understand and design communication products, artefacts, media and music. The unique characteristic of the CAT-school students is the scientific and constructive as well as creative profile, which they achieve. The three study boards are:

The School of Consciousness and Human Development
The School of Consciousness and Human Development includes a number of educations under the Faculty of Humanities. The School is mainly located in Aalborg and also has activities and employees at the AAU Campus in Ballerup.
The School of Consciousness and Human Development consists of three separate study boards. Two of these are organised under Department of Communication and Psychology:
Psychology: The study board has 668 students
- Bachelor- and Master’s degree programmes
- Psychology as part-time (continuing education)
Music Therapy: The study board has 38 students
- Bachelor- and Master’s degree programmes
- Continuing education in applied music in health care (Promusa)
Furthermore the School of Consciousness and Human Development offers the following Master’s degree programmes:
- Master in Learning processes, specializing in Organisational Coaching (MOC)
- Master in Learning Processes, specializing in Leadership and Organizational Psychology (LOOP)
